I just finished the first two books in this series, City of the Dead and Bayou Dogs. I had picked them up for my son at the book fair, and since I cannot resist the lure of anything with the word ‘haunting’ in it, I got to them before my son did.
Tony Abbott is of course a distinguished author of more than seventy titles for children, and I can’t wait to pick up the next book in this series which is called The Red House.
If you are into supernatural themes, the walking dead, and things that go bump in the Louisiana night, then do not hesitate to get on board.

I just finsihed The Haunting of Maddy Clare by Simone St. James. It’s adult themed, and set in the 1920s, but it did the trick. My arm goosefleshed. Very good book.
Sounds good, I shall have to seek that one out with a quickness!
